The FIRST Yellow Springs Hack Circle

Yeah I know, it's definitely not the first hack circle in Yellow Springs. This place is made for hackysack, and I know a lot of people have played here over the years. But this community of hackers is special and it all started one afternoon in September 2021. My Wife had recently started working in Yellow Springs. My phone rang and it was her, "You have to come up here, hurry. There's people playing hackysack in the parking lot!" I had been playing hackysack for years but never really had people to play with. I dropped everything I was doing and went to the parking lot at the John Bryan Center where I found 3 guys kicking a hack. It was OG Mike and 2 of his nephews. I walked up and asked if I could play and was met with an enthusiastic, "Sure!" They already knew the rules, everyone can play. We played for hours. Mike and I started meeting up regularly to play. Once a week at least but probably twice, and we played all winter. We eventually met more people that played in the spring time, but without OG Mike, we might not have this great community we all love.
